Khorthall Ironliver

Khorthall Ironliver was brought into this world in 1285 AE. Standing at nine feet tall, his intimidation subsides with his charming smile and welcoming personality.

His stature was earned through years of adventuring as well as being a veteran in past pit fights and an abundance of moot brawls.

He takes up arms as a Guardian, a power that is driven by his iron will to defend those around him. His skills in battle, both physical and magical combat, have proven he can hold out in the direst of circumstances yet often he sees himself more as a brewer then a fighter.

Family

Khorthall has had his share of mates throughout his journey and in time he was blessed with two beautiful children. The first being Haldor born in 1329 AE. Son of his past mate Nori Bladetail, a fiery haired Norn woman who took up arms as a warrior who has continued onwards to follow her legend as Haldor remains in Khorthall's care to this very day.

Next was Freya born in 1331 AE, daughter of his past mate Ingrid Tharasdottir. Ingrid is a Norn woman who prided herself as a knowledgeable necromancer studying the culture and magics in the deserts of Elona. She currently cares for and teaches their daughter as she continues to follow her legend.

Khorthall's journey eventually led him to meet Merida Nightwalker. The two met in the Queensdale Hunting lodge for trade. From there he was invited on a trip to Southsun Beach which led to the two enjoying a day in Hoelbrak and even a trek to Kyesjard where khorthall met her family.

Overtime as they hunted together and trekked through the Shiverpeak Mountains, side by side both in battle and adventure, a spark of love was found that eventually blossomed and led to a wedding ceremony on the 40th of Scion, 1333 AE upon Lake Mourn of Hoelbrak.

It was from there that Merida would call his lodging her own home. They would share moments such as admiring the reflections of the stars upon the waters of Amnoon City to being overwhelmed with joy and merriment at the local brewfests.

They have shared many chapters together in their life both in battle and love. They are bound in spirit and by their blades, to always care for and protect each other, their legend and what lies beyond.

Throughout his years, many have enjoyed Khorthall's brews that have been created with absolute passion and skill yet he knew he wanted to strive for more. Thus he began what has been named as the Great Brew Tour, a long trek beyond the Shiverpeak Mountains across Tyria to sell his wares and begin his trade. This began with the village of Butcher's Block where the Master of Fireworks, Radarr Boommaker, agreed to a contract with the brewer for his ales and mead.

Khorthall didn't stop at Butcher's Block as he made his way south along the road to the Black Citadel. It took some convincing but eventually Barkeep Gallowknot of the Serrated Blade Tavern agreed to a contract due to the entertainment that was held outside by both Norn and Charr warbands sharing ales and competing in drink!

After awaking amongst passed out Charr and Norn, Khorthall continued his way through the Asura gate to Lion's Arch where he met with an old friend. A contract was made and the popular bar within the beach cave near the harbor would fill its shelves with Ironliver brews. This also helped with trade as the stories and influence of such brews began to spread amongst the sailors and even pirates.

The Great Brew Tour was coming to an end. Leaving Lion's Arch and making their way through Gendarren Fields, their final destination was reached upon the fortification of Vigil Keep. With some history there, Khorthall was familiar with trader Domar which led to a contract to supply his brews for the Vigil and thus ending the Great Brew Tour.

Khorthall eventually found trade to Divinity's Reach beginning with the Maiden's Whisper and later the Coin. Eventually his brews would reach the shelves of the Busted Flagon and the Ossan Oasis with the help of a partnership with the Aureate Solutions company.

During a celebration of Brewfest, Khorthall had met with a group of Charr, The Flaming Cats Trading Company, that were known for their famous coffee made all the way from Elona. They struck a deal in trading their coffee for Ironliver brews which have developed into a long lasting freindship to this very day.

Khorthall's partnership with the Aureate Solutions has led to his variety of brews to reach new horizons. From the deserts of Elona and across the seas to the lands of Cantha, The Ironliver Trade has done what not many Norn brewers have done before yet inspires what legends can be reached and what is possible.
